No subscription: a cost shown, credit by credit

The application asks for no credit card and bills no subscription. What costs money is text generation by the AI engine — and the amount is stated before, then measured after.

Reading the cost

Three places, no arithmetic on your side.

  • Before: the credit estimate is shown on the generate button.
  • After: the credits actually spent are written into history, with the engine used.
  • Continuously: the header shows the remaining balance and how many applications it can still fund.

Why two engines

Because a single engine always fails eventually.

  • The main engine is tried first; the second takes over on failure.
  • When the backup — on a free tariff — answers instead, no credit is deducted from the balance.
  • You can force either from the interface: the choice is recorded in history.

The limits, plainly

A shared balance
All accounts share the same API key, therefore the same credit balance. Each account, however, keeps its own resumes, applications and dossiers.
No credit card
The application contains no online payment and shows no price in euros: cost exists only in credits, displayed in the interface.
No result promised
The tool produces texts and a match score. It promises no job, no reply and no scholarship won.

FAQ

Pricing questions

The thing worth checking before signing up.

How much does CV Studio cost?

Sign-up, resume editing, the eight templates and PDF export cost nothing and consume no credit. Only text generation does: about 16 credits per application and about 43 per scholarship dossier.

Do I need a credit card?

No. The application contains no online payment and asks for no payment method. It does not even display an amount in euros.

What consumes credits?

Only text generation: posting analysis, score, tailored resume, cover letter, interview preparation, scholarship dossier. Editing, preview, PDF and keyword sorting consume none.

Why is the cost shown as approximate?

Because it depends on how much text the posting contains and which model is used. The estimate shown before generation is replaced, once it finishes, by the credit actually spent.

What happens when the balance runs out?

The interface warns you as soon as it gets low, with the number of applications left. Keyword sorting and the whole editing side keep working without credit.

Does my account have its own balance?

No: the balance is global because the API key is shared by all accounts. Your resumes, applications and dossiers, on the other hand, stay strictly confined to your account.
