Cookies and trackers

This page describes the cookies and storage used by CV Studio, and how your consent is collected under the Beninese digital code.

Last updated: 1 October 2026

What a cookie is

A cookie is a small file placed by the site in your browser. Browser local storage can also keep preferences on your device, without sending them with every request.

Strictly necessary cookies

The site sets a single cookie, essential to its operation:

  • `hyacinthe_session`: session identifier, kept for thirty days, used only to keep you signed in. It is removed on sign-out.

Browser local storage

The light or dark theme, the language and the search filters are kept in your browser's local storage. These values never leave your device and are not used for tracking.

No advertising trackers

The site uses no audience measurement tool, no advertising pixel and no third-party tracker. Because the session cookie is strictly necessary, it is exempt from prior consent, in line with established cookie practice.

Your consent

A banner lets you accept or refuse non-essential trackers. Your choice is stored locally and can be changed at any time from the same banner, reachable through the link in the footer.

Refusing non-essential trackers limits no feature: none exist today.

Refusing or deleting cookies

You can also configure your browser to block or delete cookies. Blocking the session cookie prevents signing in to your account.

Changes

If new trackers were added, this page would be updated and your consent requested again before they are enabled.
