Everything CV Studio does, feature by feature

Five tabs for one journey: write the resume, compare it against a posting, generate the texts, search for offers and assemble a scholarship dossier. Here is the detail, with no claim you cannot check inside the tool.

  • Interface in French and English
  • Nothing to install
  • Separate accounts

CV Studio features — resume editor, score /100, letters and dossiers

Resume editor

The resume is the single source: preview, PDF, score and letter all read from it.

  • Contact details, summary, experience, education, skills, languages, projects, links and photo.
  • Sections reordered by drag and drop, without touching the content.
  • One resume per language: French and English live side by side on the same account, each with its own template.
  • Saved to the database on every change, photo included.
  • Photos are never served publicly: their address requires a valid session and ownership of the resume.

Preview and PDF export

What you see on screen is exactly what the PDF contains.

  • A4-scaled preview, eight layouts you can swap at any time.
  • The PDF is built in your browser: no file is sent to a third-party service.
  • Switch templates without losing or rewriting a single line.
  • Clean printing: the layout is calibrated for A4, off screen too.

Match score out of 100

A number, and above all what makes it up.

  • The posting is parsed for expected keywords, requested skills and target seniority.
  • The score details what is already covered, what is missing and which terms are absent.
  • Four template suggestions ranked by relevance, each with the reason for its score.
  • The score is produced together with the rest of the generation, so it counts in credits — and the cost is shown before you launch.

Cover letter and interview preparation

The two texts everyone always leaves to the last minute.

  • A letter written in the language of the posting and addressed to the reader named in the text.
  • Interview preparation: pitch, discussion points and questions to ask the recruiter.
  • Filler phrases are scanned out — every paragraph must carry a fact, a proper noun and varied sentence lengths.
  • Letter exported to PDF plus a copy button for application forms.
  • Application history, with the score, engine and cost of each entry.

Job search

Ten sources queried in parallel instead of a list you build by hand.

  • Results deduplicated and filtered by keyword, location, remote work and posting age.
  • Keyword sorting works with no AI configured at all.
  • AI ranking when an engine is available: the credit spent is shown in the results banner.
  • A failing source does not stop the search — every source status is listed.

Scholarship search and complete dossiers

The application that takes the longest to write.

  • Four scholarship blogs read directly: about 370 listings collected during testing, 40 shortlisted, each with its deadline.
  • Filters by field, study level and posting age.
  • Six generated texts: cover letter, study plan, professional project, research project, statement of intent and a letter-of-recommendation template.
  • The list of supporting documents to gather, plus the resume tailored to the programme.
  • History keeps every dossier with its score, engine and cost.

Accounts, credits and engines

What happens under the hood, in plain terms.

  • Separate accounts: each keeps its own resumes, applications and dossiers.
  • One shared credit balance, always visible together with how many applications it can still fund.
  • Two engines: the first is tried first, the second takes over on failure with no visible interruption.
  • Every generation states its estimated cost, then the credits actually spent.
  • Sessions stored server-side, passwords hashed: nothing sensitive lives in the browser.

FAQ

Feature questions

The detail a presentation page usually leaves out.

Where are my resumes stored?

In the site database, tied to your account and to the resume's language. Another account cannot read them, and a direct link to your photo does not respond without your session.

Can I switch templates afterwards?

Yes, at any time from the header or the gallery: the layout is recalculated and the content stays intact. You can also compare the eight side by side before choosing.

Is the score a hiring test?

No. The score measures how well your resume matches the text of the posting: keywords covered, skills missing. It does not predict a recruiter's answer and promises none.

Can I work in English?

Yes, at three levels: the interface has a French and an English version, every account keeps a French and an English resume, and generated texts are written in the language of the posting.

How many generations can I run?

The credit balance decides, not a daily quota. The header shows the remaining balance and, below it, how many applications that balance can still fund.

What if the main engine fails?

A second engine takes over automatically. History records which one answered, and you can force either from the interface.

See it in practice

Create an account, fill in your resume once, then walk through the five tabs: edit, preview, apply, jobs, scholarships.
